MALTIPOO
Maltipoos are a combination of the Poodle and the Maltese. A great little dog that is hypoallergenic and does not shed. The picture . The size of these pups will be around 8-11lbs depending on t size of the mom.
ALL PUPPIES WIL SEE A VET.. AND HAVE A HEALTH EXAM, THEIR FIRST SET OF SHOTS, AND WORMED BEFORE YOU PICK THEM UP AT 8 WKS OLD.

There is usually only 3-4 pups in the litter.
WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT THE MALTIPOO
The Maltipoo is a cross between a Maltese and a Poodle. They are hypoallergenic.
They comes in a wide variety of sizes, but most weigh 5-15 lbs . My pups should be on the smaller size.
Character: The Maltipoo is an intelligent, dog. The mix of Maltese and Poodle usually produces a lively, playful dog devoted to its family. They loves to play or curl up on the couch for a nap. They require frequent human companionship.
Temperament: They can get along well with dogs and other pets if socialized when young, but it is somewhat territorial. Maltipoos may be wary of strangers and are highly protective of their family. They get along very well with children, but should be supervised around young children to ensure they are treated respectfully.
Care: The Maltipoo sheds little or no hair. It requires monthly grooming and regular brushing to prevent tangling. The eyes and ears should also be cleaned regularly with stray hairs removed. Bathe only when necessary. Puppies should not be handled constantly as they need time to rest and relax. The life span is 11-13 years, but may live longer with the right food, and health care.
Training: The Maltipoos are eager to learn and should not present many difficulties in training. Positive reinforcement is likely to be the most successful approach. I recommend a puppy class at 10 wks old. There are many good courses online also. I recommend www.hollyandhugo.com. They offer a lot of good courses, one for puppy training. You can also google puppy training for other courses.
